An all positional stainless steel electrode giving radiographic welds which offer maximum resistance to corrosion and cracking with excellent creep strength. Weld can withstand elevated temperatures upto 800°C. A low carbon 19/10 stainless steel electrodes with controlled ferrite content of 3 to 7%. For welding of AISI types 301,302,304,305 and 308 steels of difficult weldability weld steels. Used for welding of household articles, hospital apparatus, pump impellers, shafts, valveseats, chemical plants, milk and soap industries.


Ideal - 308 L - 16 - AWS: E 308 L -16

It is an extra low carbon 19Cr/10Ni stainless steel electrode for non-stabilised and stabilized Cr-Ni steels resistant to atmospheric corrosion of 18/8 type. Has easy striking and restriking with fine rippled beads and has excellent creep strength and the weld metal is radiographic quality. For welding of all Cr-Ni steels with low or medium carbon content as well as Ti & Cb stabilized Cr – Ni steels of 18/8 type represented by AISI types 302,304,304L,321 & 347 welding of household articles, hospital equipment, chemical plants, milk and soap industries, valve faces and seats.

It is a heavy coated rutile type all position austenite ferritic electrode with a ferrite content of approx 15%. Excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance in continuous service upto 1100°C. Gives little spatter, easy detachable slag with fine ripple beads of radiographic quality. For joining high alloy and unalloyed steels. Also suitable for buffer layer on 18/8 Cr-Ni steels. Suitable for heat-resistant steels type AISI 309.

A medium heavy coated, rutile type all position electrode to give fully austenitic 25% Cr / 20% Ni weld deposit. Weld metal is scale resistant upto 1050°C. Low spatter loss, smooth and uniform bead having easy slag removal properties. Welding AISI 310 type, German steels 4762,4828,4841,4846 and 4848 Cladding side of stainless clad steels, straight chrome steels and dissimilar steels, hydrogenation and polymerization plant, gas turbine combustion chamber parts, annealing boxes and carburizing pots.

It is an all positional electrode depositing Mo-stabilized welds of radiographic quality and excellent creep strength. Ferrite is so controlled as to offer maximum resistance to corrosion. Cracking and high temperatures upto 800°C. A low carbon 18/13/Mo stainless steel electrode makes the weld metal resistant to corrosive agents of a reducing nature. For welding of 18/8/Mo steels such as AISI 316, 317 types, tank vats coils, chemical mixers, paint, dye industries and other related processing industries.

It is a low carbon 18/13/Mo stainless steel type electrode for welding of stabilized and non-stabilised Cr-Ni steels resistant to atmospheric corrosion of the 316 type. Resistant to grain disintegration of operating temperature upto 350°C. The weld metal has excellent creep strength and of radiographic quality. For welding of all Cr-Ni steels with low or medium carbon content as well as Ti & Nb stabilized Cr-Ni steels of 18/8/2 type such as AISI 316 ELC or 316 types, stainless steel clad plates, paint and dye industries and chemical plants.

Ideal - 318 - AWS: E 318-16

It is a low carbon 18/13/Mo Nb stabilized electrode with controlled ferrite content of 4 to 8 percent for maximum resistance to stress corrosion cracking, chemical corrosion. The weld metal has excellent creep strength upto 850 °C and is of radiographic quality. For welding of AISI 318 grade paper mill equipment, chemical plants, dyeing equipment, pickling plant, heat resisting, casting backery equipment etc. Also used for non stabilized steels of the types AICS 316 and 317 when maximum resistance to corrosion is required.
